Dirty Spritz
Bubbly, briny, and crowned with King Orange, the Dirty Spritz is an aperitivo staple. Created in collaboration with Amanda Jones of Austin's beloved Nickel City, this cocktail takes everything you love about a classic spritz and gives it a savory twist with olive brine, Lillet Blanc, and a bright citrus finish.
Finished with a DEHY King Orange garnish and a skewered olive, it's the kind of drink that feels equally at home at golden hour happy hour or an elegant dinner party. As Amanda says, "I wanted to be able to have a martini with my friends, but I am such a lightweight I can’t have two oz of gin before dinner. So this is a martini-spritz mashup".
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Lillet Blanc
- ¾ oz olive juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Sparkling wine, to top
- 1 DEHY King Orange garnish
- Skewered olive
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add Lillet Blanc, olive juice, and orange bitters to a wine glass with ice.
- Top with sparkling wine.
- But don't pour in vain. Finish strong with a King Orange Wheel and skewered olive.
- Sip slowly and savor.
